Who is Soveriegn?

To all Atheist’s reading the details below. It is not intended to be an in depth bible study or make the reader think it’s impossible to find out the truth. It is however my intention to convey how important this issue is and that is all.

 

God’s word

 

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,  that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.  

2 Timothy 3:16-17

 

The word sovereign doesn't appear in the KJV, but it does appear in other versions like the NLT. Similarly trinity doesn’t appear in any translation,(as far as I know) yet we read and understand the scriptures describes God in 3 persons, yet God tells us “I am God and there is none like me” & “The Lord our God, the Lord is one” (Deut 6:4-15, Isaiah 46:9) and in the same word we can't help but see that to be sovereign is to be God. Having said that, it's also very deep to unpack.

 

Comparing translations it is evident that where the word sovereign is used that it refers to the Lord God (Lord, Adonai in O.T Hebrew, kurios in N.T Greek)  (God, Yahweh- elohiym in O.T Hebrew and in N.T Greek, Theos )

 

For example, compare Isaiah 25:8 in the KJV and the NLT

 

KJV

“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.”

 

NLT

“He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign LORD will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The LORD has spoken!”

 

But when we consider In Ps 47:2 we read “For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.”

 

The Lord is “most high” means He is as high as can be, so the word sovereign is really unnecessary and doesn’t add anything to God being “The Lord most High.”

 

Once we grasp what King Nebuchadnezzar did, (as written in Dan 4:32 “that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.”) then we must open the box completely (so to speak), to realise that the “Lord Most High” must also be the lawgiver, otherwise how will society live and survive.

(Consider also all the health and hygiene laws in Leviticus 11:32-40, 13:29-59, 15:1-15)

Then in direct correlation to the laws given by God for the benefit of His people we must also conclude that whoever is “The Most High” must also be All Wise, All knowing, All Powerful, Eternal, Righteous, true, Just and the list goes on.

God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords Rev 19:16 That makes Him the ruler of all His creation.

 

God’s authority

 

The scripture tells us all that we need to know about who God is, so that we can have a knowledge of Him. He deserves all praise, honour, glory and Love and must be worshiped above all. See Ps 47:6-8

All authority is His, yet here’s the thing, because He is the ultimate authority he can designate/assign authority to men to be rulers (kings and government leaders) on the earth. Daniel 2:20-21,1 Chron 29 :11-17, Ps 24:1-2.

Even though His ways are often beyond our comprehension (beyond finding out) Romans 11:33-36, Isaiah 55:6-9, Job 38:1-7; 40:3-15 we must trust that God knows what He is doing. Christians understand this. Romans 8:28-30

 

In Matt 28:18-20 we see God gave authority to Jesus Christ prior to Jesus commanding the Apostles to go into the world and make disciples and baptizing those being saved.  See also Eph 1:1-21

 

Authority given to man

 

We have learnt that the very same God (who is the creator of all things including the heavens and the earth), gave the earth to the sons of men Ps 115:3,16.

God gave man dominion and authority over certain areas (spheres) for a certain time. Genesis 1:26-28, Psalms 8, Prov 8:15, Romans 13, Daniel 2:20-21, 1Peter 2:13.

This authority extends into marriage and family life, the workplace and the Church. (too much to address here)

We get a glimpse of the greatness of God when we read in Isaiah 66:1 “Thus says the LORD: “Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?”

One day God’s kingdom will literally be on earth and Christ will be the king and ruler as prophesied in Isaiah 9:6-7; 40:10. Furthermore those who are His, will rule with Him Daniel 7:17-18, Matt 25:31-46.

 

Note: Until the day of Christ comes and the kingdom of God is on earth, the rule of God’s kingdom is at work in the heart and soul of the believer in Jesus the Christ. Luke 17:20-21. When Jesus (by the working of the holy Spirit of God) is working in the life of the newly recreated (born again) follower of Christ, it must be understood that a person has died with Christ and is now risen with Christ and is seated in Him at the right hand of God. Ephesians 1, Col 1, Gal 2:20

 

In opposition to this, the Devil will also intend to rule as king of the earth by means of a man called the son of perdition or man of lawlessness along with 10 kings. See 2Thessalonians 2, Revelation 13; 14; 17, Daniel 7:24

God’s authoritative rule as Lord and king over His creation (sovereignty) doesn’t remove/replace man’s free will to believe & live by God’s right and true ways. So although God is almighty, His power beyond measure, He doesn’t force man to receive Christ Jesus the saviour of the world.

Faith we read comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:8-17

However each person (man or women) will be accountable to God (even after they have died) for their actions or non actions and deeds done on earth John 5:28-30, John 3:36, Revelation 20.

 

Note: God doesn’t choose who get’s saved and who doesn't. As the Calvinist's believe. But, He does predestine the outcome of those who are in Christ. Ephesians 1; 2, Romans 8:28-30

 

Can man be sovereign?

 

Let’s consider what mans word say about sovereignty.

Noun

    a monarch; a king, queen, or other supreme ruler.

    a person who has supreme power or authority.

    a group or body of persons or a state having sovereign authority.

Adjective

    belonging to or characteristic of a sovereign or sovereign authority; royal.

The Cambridge dictionary says

sovereign adjective (GOVERNMENT)

Having the highest power or being completely independent:

Sovereign power is said to lie with the people in some countries, and with a ruler in others.

sovereign state/nation We must respect the rights of sovereign states/nations to conduct their own affairs.

Supreme authority in a state. In any state sovereignty is vested in the institution, person, or body having the ultimate authority to impose law on everyone else in the state and the power to alter any pre-existing law. How and by whom the authority is exercised varies according to the political nature of the state. One of these bodies may in fact retain sovereignty by having ultimate control over the others. But in some countries, such as the USA, the powers are carefully balanced by a constitution. In international law, it is an essential aspect of sovereignty that all states should have supreme control over their internal affairs, subject to the recognized limitations imposed by international law. These limitations include, in particular, the international law of human rights and the rules forbidding the use of force. However, no state or international organization may intervene in matters that fall within the domestic jurisdiction of another state. The concept of state sovereignty was outlined, among other things, in a declaration on Principles of International Law (Resolution 2625), proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1970.

If man believes they evolved (from nothing) how is it possible that he can understand what is morally right or wrong? Without a moral absolute (a holy and righteous God) how can man rule, direct, be just and have authority over people?

How can a person state something is crooked if there is no straight. If a person denies the “Most High God” who created them, then they have no claim on what is crooked. It's just their opinion against that of another.

They deny God and they are blind 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

God’s word states that without the knowledge of law sin can not be imputed Romans 5:13

Romans 13:1-2 “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.”

So can man be sovereign? They think they can, but they can never be the Lord God.

People of today are complaining that they are seeing a tyrannical governmental system, it's like those that have gone before except the technology today is unlike any other time in history. Digital advances for example mean that those in power (good or bad) can manipulate us, and they do. The people see the corrupt political system is against them even though it pretends otherwise.

Have you heard those people now pushing back and saying “we are sovereign” and we must learn to rule ourselves to take back control. Question. How will people do that if God has not given them his authority to do that? All they will continue to be is in rebellion again God.

Some even claim (like the peacekeepers and those who are into the spirit of the new age) that they can self govern. They believe that nature is God and that they have heard form nature telling them how we should live and conduct ourselves. 

Christian response. God is not nature, being at one with the earth and nature doesn't make anyone part of God's family.

As the word of God says Romans 1:18-25. The consequence of worshiping creation and not the creator are explained and as we read further we see the consequence of doing that. Romans 1:26-31.

The climate change cult is against God and even those who are against the climate change agenda are just as much against God as those who are in it, because they too reject Jesus Christ and are equally deceived.

The message to all is get right with the creator, “The most high God” Jesus Christ is the only way that that is going to happen.

The deception of the climate crisis agenda

Through various and devious means, people all round the world have been and are being deceived. The god of this age has blinded their eyes.

They don't believe in God, or in Jesus Christ, yet they follow after the ruler of this world, the Devil or Satan (the deceiver) described in scripture as the prince of the power of the air. And they don't even know it, until now. Ephesians 2:1-10, John 12:31

In 2 Corinthians 4:1-7 we read "Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.  But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.  But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.  For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.  For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us." 

In the scriptures, we read what Jesus said to those who didn't understand His words. John 8:43-44. The Devil is the father of lies.

Let me give you a scenario.

You are in a very high building and a huge fire has started in the lower parts and the flames are rapidly rising to where you are. Someone told you that if such an event happened that you should go to the roof of the building via the stairs as calmly as you can and then jump off, flapping your arms as you go, just like Peter Pan. Don't worry, you will be fine.

Or

You are in a very high building and a huge fire has started in the lower parts and the flames are rapidly rising to where you are. Someone told you that if such an event happened, that you should go to the top of the building as calmly as you can. When you reach the stairs going up to the roof, you will see a cupboard, inside which is a parachute. Put the parachute on, as the instruction tell you, then go onto the roof and jump, pulling the cord that will open the chute. You will land on the ground. It won't be a good experience, but you will be fine. 

So which will you choose?

Let's give you another two options to choose from.

Climate crisis a lie of the devil.

Or

God, who created you and the whole of creation, the very same who demonstrated His love towards us in that whilst we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Hope you make the right choice.

Now we are going to consider how people are deceived.

1. Psychological manipulation

Let’s consider for a minute how to manipulate people so that they will comply.

There are all sorts of situations in life where we find ourselves being manipulated, sometimes we may not even realise until after the event that we have been manipulated, then on reflection we think and ask ourselves “How on earth did I get into that situation” or “how did I get sucked into buying that thing I couldn’t afford.”  

Emotional manipulation is another way people find themselves being part of something and doing things believing they are doing a good thing first because they are made to feel good for doing it and second because their actions are for the greater good to save humanity.

2. Pier pressure

We never want to be seen as the odd one out or the weakest link, we would rather be living a lie than going in the opposite direction alone.

3. Fear 

With slogans like “No one gets out alive unless we act now.”

If we believe, what we are being told, (that there is a threat of the world’s extinction due to a climate crisis as a result of Co2 emissions caused by mankind's over use of fossil fuels) then the fear of that must be a driving force and is probably the main reason we are seeing people reacting the way they are and want to do all they can, believing their contribution will make a difference. 

Where have we seen this format of fear and manipulation before?

The Coronavirus Pandemic (plandemic)

Just like millions of people across the world who reacted to the so-called Covid pandemic, leading to the ‘save me’ at all costs mindset. Those people were willing to take an untested vaccine that has been responsible for naming and killing thousands of children, women and men across the world.

Covid and the vaccine roll out was the test bed to see how compliant people will be when they deceived into believing they are going to die.

4. The propaganda machine - A false prophet

The world media the BBC Et al, acting on behalf of governments, were complicit in the champagne to manipulate people. There is too much to say on this subject.

A government, individual or organisation will and does use this method to get more power and therefore more influence and control of the people.

Create a dilemma or emergency, (even if it’s not real) it must sound convincing and possible.

Get the people to believe it and react to it.

Then assure the people that a solution will be found, (they already have the solution)

Then, at the point the solution is ready to be implemented, some kind of inclusion or exclusion rule will be imposed to get as many people as possible to comply.

So here is the rundown of what the climate collective body (cult) needs?

Leaders who can work together, who can manage and direct people.

Creating opportunities for uniting people behind the cause.

An indoctrination / education program) i.e The Carbon literacy project

A propaganda machine, of the main stream media.(a false prophet as I call it)

Recruit people from all sectors.

Reward /financial incentives

Create a good slogan : 

• Be part of our team leading the way to save our world
  
• We're in it together
• Save our planet 
• Do the right thing and make a better future for future generations.

Recycle - eat green - drive & fly less - drive EVs-be anti meat, live less to save energy-be cold and stop burning fossil fuel.

If you don’t comply

If you don’t comply, your co-workers will cast you off or worse, you won't be allowed to participate in life, one way or the other.

In 2019 The Bank of England governor warned businesses they would be punished by investors.  Link

 Children are being targeted

As parents, we should comfort our children to stop them from being afraid and worried, but one of the strategies it seems is to create a platform where children can talk about their fears of the climate crisis. Link

Why not just tell children the truth? The Climate Crisis is a lie.

An education program needed to get everybody in society onboard with the global environmental movement (The GEM cult) would need to be massive, really huge. And it is.

Grants available

"Grant funding of up to £130 per person is available for course costs and certification" yes, brainwashing is being funded. By who? In the UK it's our government. The money comes through/from the Shared Prosperity Fund?

The carbon literacy project has been going for many years. Here is a quote from their website.

"Here at Project HQ, we hope that every learner who undertakes Carbon Literacy learning will become certified as Carbon Literate"

Yes that's right, it's like an examination board for a school who wants its students to be certified and that means qualified. Qualified to move the project forward.

THINK FOR A MINUTE, THINK.  Can you imagine coming up with a scheme that is a huge lie and getting the government to give grants to any who are "The educators" of it?         Millions of people are believing a lie, believing they can be part of something that's going to save humanity, trained to block out any view that doesn't fit the narrative of "The G.E.M cult" and to be certified in order to evangelise further.

Well, it's been going on for a long time.

 

Is it possible that mankind can save themselves?

Man can save themselves from a lot of things, but not from death, not from the wrath of God and not from the lake of fire.

Let us consider from the word of God what salvation is (2Timothy 3:16-17), then we will understand that true salvation is from God alone.

To understand salvation from the perspective of God's word, salvation needs to be understood as this:

• God is Salvation.
• We are saved from something into someone. 

To be saved is to be transformed and redeemed. 2 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 8:28-30, Isaiah 44:6, Ephesians 1:1-13. 

The unsaved are outside of God's kingdom. God is Holy righteous and just and does not permit sin and those who are unregenerated into His kingdom. See 1 Corinthians 15:50, 1Peter 1:1-5

The word of God tells us that to see or enter the kingdom of God a person must be born again or made a new creation John 1:10-13, John 3, 2 Corinthians 5:17. This is only possible by the working of a holy and righteous God. He must be believed and received before a person can be saved (transformed). Isaiah 45:21-22 tells us there is none besides Him who saves. God is So although asking what is salvation seems to be the right question, it's necessary to understand the process to realise it's not that simple a question.

God is the creator, He is the Lord, and He is the one who must be obeyed.  Sounds final and absolute. It is. Genesis 1; 2, Colossians 1

The fact is God made Adam the first man and Eve the first women, He commanded Adam (who was made first) saying what they could do and what they must not do. Genesis 1; 2, Genesis 2:15-17

Adam & Eve did what they were commanded by God not to do. Genesis 3.

Sin is breaking the law God gives. 1John 3:4

Romans 5:12-14 tells us that sin and the consequence of sin leads to death for all.

The law makes us aware of our short fall. Romans 7:7

The word of God makes it clear all have sinned, non are righteous, all will die because of sin and all will be judged even after death. 

There are two resurrection and there is eternity, either in God's kingdom or in the lake of fire. Luke 16:19-31, John 5:28-29, Revelation 20; 21:8, Daniel 12:2.  2 Thessalonians 1:6-10, Revelation 14:9-12

Romans 3:10-1, 23 "None are righteous." "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death"

Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."

Put it to the test, take God at His word. God says ALL have sinned. Do you think that includes you? 

Let's see.

In the word of God (written in the bible) we find the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:2–17, Deuteronomy 5:6–21)

Here are just four

Do not lie

Do not steel

Do not commit adultery (even looking with lust is the same)

Do not take the Lord's name in vain

How many lies do you think you have told? Be honest, don’t lie.

What does that make you?

 

Have you ever stolen anything, regardless of the value, even if it’s small?

What does that make you?

 

Jesus said, ‘Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her

has already committed adultery with her in his heart.’

Have you ever done that?

What does that make you?

Have you ever used God’s name in vain?

Do you know what you’re doing? Instead of using a

four-letter filth word to express disgust, you’re using the name of the God who gave you life. That’s called blasphemy, and the Bible says, ‘The LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain’ (Exodus 20:7).

It also means that if you like to think of yourself as a Christian and yet you don’t live as one. Then you take His name in vain.

What does that make you?

I’m not judging you, but if you have been honest and not lied then by your own admission, you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and you have to face God on Judgment Day.

Where do you think you are going, heaven or the lake of fire (referred to as hell)?

If you went before a judge having broken the law, would he be a good judge if he let you off because you helped with the false climate change agenda or even did a good deed?

No. God is Just and righteous, He will punish all, according to His word.

The word of God says that the wages for sin is death. That’s right, we die because we have sinned. Death is our payment for sin.

But the word of God goes on to say that after death comes judgment. Yes, that’s right, death is not the end because there is a resurrection to come of both the living and the dead.

But if you still believe you’re a good person and think that your good works are going to save you from a righteous God.  Consider again the word of God.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."  (Eph 2:8-9)

“For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.” (Romans 3:20)

So you have admitted you are a sinner, your debt to God is that you will die and then be sentenced to eternal punishment. Furthermore, there is nothing you can do to merit salvation. How will you escape the judgment of a just and righteous God?

The good news

What if someone paid your debt? Someone did. 

I said at the beginning, "We are saved from something into someone" Death is the something and the someone is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, He died on a cross for the sins of the whole world, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10. Believe, confess, whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

There is no other way of salvation than what God has provided, Acts 4:12.

Jesus took our sin upon Himself and was our substitute, dying on the cross once for all, taking our punishment. Jesus was without sin, yes that's right, He never sinned, which is why His sacrifice was acceptable to God. 

God the Father accepted His blood (being He was the spotless Lamb)as the means through which forgiveness could be made. This is called atonement.

Take time to read the scriptures to understand what God requires to atone for sin. Genesis 22, Exodus 6; 7; 12, Leviticus 23, Hebrews 9; 10, John1:29

Death ended at the cross

The scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 Christ died, was buried and was resurrected after three days. Jesus has conquered sin and death, once and for all it's finished.

Those who put their faith in Jesus Christ for their salvation are baptised into His death and raised from the dead in Christ, Romans 6. Note that in verse 23 as we read earlier, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

You must get right with God  (You & Your, means it's personal)

Getting right with God means you having to admit to God that you are guilty before Him and deserve to die and be sentenced to eternal torment.

You must accept and believe that Jesus died in your (it's personal) place for your sins, and you must change your mind about living your way (against God) living in sin and turning to God, living to please Him. This is only possible by being made new by the Holy Spirit of God, who is given to all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. 

Once you put your trust in Him, He doesn’t leave you alone. Trust that what He has begun in you, He will complete. Salvation is done by God by the working of the Holy Spirit in the believers' life. Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." 

Now thank God that you are saved and are now under His rule, meaning you live as being in the Kingdom of God, being in Christ (Ephesians 2) and He in you Galatians 2:20 under the rule of Jesus Christ the Lord.

Being a disciple

Following Christ (being a disciple) is a process, a walk by faith, faith in Him who (Jesus Christ) has overcome the world, it is a narrow way to life Matt 7:13-14.

There is a cost, Luke 14:26-33

He never leaves you, but be content (don't covet depend on His provision). He disciplines those whom He loves, Hebrews 13:5; 12, Phil 4:11

You will be tested for your benefit, 1Peter 1

Read God's word as often as you can, praise Him with singing, seek other Christians to have fellowship with (it's difficult to find a sound body of true Christians but nevertheless it's important to have fellowship with like-minded brethren. As one who has been given the Spirit of Christ the son of God you can call God your Father (Romans 8) So pray to Him as your Father in Jesus name.   "But as many as received Him, to them, He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:"  John 1:12

Be aware that there are many who follow different Christ's such as Mormons, Jehovah's witnesses, Catholics and the new age movement. There are also many deceivers like those in the NAR movement who are wolves in sheep's clothing. Matthew 7, 1 Timothy 4, 2 Timothy 3
