Man can save themselves from a lot of things, but let us consider in light of the word of God what salvation is. Then we will understand that true salvation is from God alone.
To understand salvation from the perspective of God's word, salvation needs to be understood as this:
- God is Salvation.
- We are saved from something into someone.
To be saved is to be transformed, and only by the working of a holy and righteous God can a person be saved (transformed) so although asking what is salvation seems to be the right question it's necessary to understand the process to realise it's not that simpler question.
